Breakfast: 5 Saltine Crackers, 1 Slice of Cheddar Cheese, and 1 Small Apple.

Lunch: 1 Hard-Boiled Egg and 1 Slice of Toast.

Dinner: 1 Cup of Tuna, 1/2 of a Banana, and 1 Cup of regular Vanilla Ice Cream.

Can I substitute any Item?

Of course you can substitute certain items from the list. Rule is you can substitute any particular item with item that has approximately same nutritional values. Whether it is not recommended to substitute any item from the diet plan but many peoples have problems with certain items like they can be allergic or just hate any fruit or veggie. And vegetarian people may also find this plan difficult as it includes egg and tuna. So here is the list you can choose from.

Peanut Butter Soy butter, Sunflower Seed Butter, Almond Butter
Hot Dogs 1/2 cup of Beans or Lentils

Carrot 2 cups of fresh spinach
Broccoli Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts

Green Beans 3 Cups of Raw Spinach

Important Instructions:

1. Please visit your doctor before starting a 3 day diet plan.
2. Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods. You do so at your own risk.
3. Salt, pepper, lemon and mustard may be used, but do not use any other seasoning.
4. After three days of dieting, you can eat your normal foods.
5. After four days of normal eating, you may start back on the 3 day diet again.
6. Don’t eat snacks and any other meals.
7. Drink a minimum of 5 glasses of water.
8. Exercise is recommended.

  4. I tried this diet and lost 8 lbs in 3 days but gained it back after 4 days of normal eating..without sweets,breads or pasta. I tried it again after the 4 days and did not lose anything...go figure

  7. 3 ounces of meat total. Normally, if you use some type of lunch meat it's about 1.5 oz, which is equivalent to the 2 slices/3 oz. I like using prepackaged chicken or fish and weigh it for the 3oz. It makes the vegetables used for dinner taste alot better than deli meat.

  8. Is there a substitute for vanilla ice cream? I have casein allergies. Avocado perhaps?
